Can’t remember how this one came up, but I was playing it late one night last week. The beat is nasty, the Outz are nasty, the sentiments are eternal, the creativity and passion are missed. This moment of Outsidaz nostalgia brought to you by iTunes shuffle, Cocaine Blunts, and the folks at Grandgood, who each shared some new Young Zee material which admittedly left much to be desired. That’s only because my eternal memory of Zee comes from his performance on “Cowboys,” which is the best Fugees song and pretty easily the finest moment of John Forté’s career.
Speaking of “Cowboys,” how could I deprive you of it? I pull out my gun and plug two like Tru Goy. Holla.
